Is there a dress code at Elysium?
Many of our guests adopt a darker theme on our nights, it makes for a phenomenal vibe.  You may wish to channel Goth, Vampire, Industrial, Victorian, Rivethead, CyberGoth or Fetish themes with your outfit, or even just wear basic black.  The pink polo shirt and blue jeans look just ain't gonna cut it, sadly.

What kind of music do you play at Elysium?
The core of what we do is 80s/90s Goth, though there is some variation in that.  Basically Classic Goth/Industrial/Darkwave/Dark Alternative - some artists we play are the Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees through to Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, the Cruxshadows, Gary Numan, Depeche Mode and much more.

I don't know anybody - can I still come?
Sure! We're a pretty friendly crew, and happy to introduce you to some fun people.  We pride ourselves on being welcoming and safe - hence the name Elysium.

Can I take photos/videos at Elysium?

This is a bit of a tricky one.  Generally the rule of thumb is yes, as long as you get consent from whoever you're photographing.  Pics of you and your friends, for example, are fine! Doing things like recording the entire room on FB Live is kinda out though.  We do have our own onsite photographers, who are happy to take photos for you.

Do you have a cloakroom at Elysium?
That we do - our cloakroom is open from 10pm (when the main room opens) and is downstairs next to the main entry position.
